After 5 months of talking about a girl and how "she" is doing today, and deciding on a name, of course, the baby turns out to be a boy! We have never thought of baby as a boy, we have only been thinking she is a girl. We have no names at all! Who has any good suggestions?
Aside from the shock, our baby is healthy and on target. HE is 11oz today.

I was always sure it was going to be a boy. Some day I'll tell you why. I would have loved a baby girl but, we will love this little baby boy so very much. We could name him Santa Ana (after the great general that destroyed the Alamo.)Or he could be named Sam after the general that destroyed Santa Ana. At one time I loved the name 'Paris'. I knew of a baby boy who was named that - but it has been desecrated by someone famous for doing nothing of any significance. Seriously, I have always loved the name, Gabriel, and call him Gabe!But whatever you decide - I am going to love him so very, very much.
Can't believe that tiny baby is in your very flat stomach/uterus...

I like Jet. We all petitioned to name baby #7 that, but I guess Griffin won out.
I think you should name the baby Laocoön. Its a name with some good history to it.
