Kylie has had an awful cough, can't sleep, waking her up when she does sleep. In the middle of the night I remembered this odd cure.
Rub Vicks VapoRub on the bottoms of your feet to stop coughing. We were desperate, so we tried it. It Worked! We have done it for several nights in a row, and it has worked! Amazing.
We do put socks on after the rubbing so the sheets are not gross.

I wondered if that would actually work. What helped me and christopher a lot was we got a humidifier that has a little place to pour some of that vicks stuff into, and it puts out the vicks stuff in the air so it helps you breathe easier all night.
I'm amazed!! I heard that quirky remedie, as well, but never knew anyhone who actually tried it! Am so glad for Kylie that it worked but feel bad that she has to have such an awful cough. It all starts from the same thing, you know - - allergy, sinus, draining down the throat, then terrible cough. Then Bacteria gets started in there and it becomes an awful cycle.
Kylie has used the humifier for a long time AND she has started to clean her sinuses with a nose bidet! We are trying it all.
HELLO - Rosa has been doing that for years. In fact, she did it to Tanner when she was babysitting him one night. He hated it! She not only puts it on their feet, but on their chest too and neck - I think she really smothers it on. They cry and don't like it - but she says it really helps them in the morning.
