Vincent VanGil

Gil has been hard at work today painting my belly. I think this is the last time we will do this. It's too hard for me to sit - baby kicks me. I love this picture. I think Gil should make some extra money painting pictures on pregnant bellies. By the way, this is all done with face paint from Halloween!

Valentine's Day

I was waiting for Mom to post her "Couples Valentine Party," but that hasn't happened yet, so I'll share what Gil and I did. We spent the day at Santa Monica pier where we spent most of our time when we were dating. The sun was out and it was a great day. This is us on the ferris wheel. I'm so happy to be married and with someone that I love!


P.S. This is a picture of me after dinner at Shabu Shabu with Mom and Dad. That was three weeks ago - and I have 6 more to go!!! Could this be the reason my back hurts so much??

I'm Taking a Leap!

I am taking the leap into creating my own "store" for handmade items; handbags, flannel baby blankets, scripture bags, aprons and possibly more.

Not Always the FOOTBALL Winner

Somehow, you have been put under the misconception that I, Julie, am always the winner of all things football. Well, I do come VERY close, but I am not always the winner.

Zak beat me by 3 points in the Super Bowl...3 POINTS!

And, Shockingly, I think, Quinn won our regular Fantasy Football Season. Please correct me if I'm wrong. It feels wrong.

I did win the first 3 games of the Fantasy Football brackets, but I guess, as in life, it is "what have you done for me lately".

I DO have a very good time.

And I am preparing my lists for the next draft! Beware!

No Period

Tonight there were several options for dinner, I guess Tuna Sandwiches won out.

Griffin loves them.

I asked Kylie to please ask everyone who wanted one so I could make the appropriate amount.

Griffin seemed to say yes, then no, I thought it odd. I tried to get a specific answer out of him and didn’t seem to be satisfied that he was really listening to answer correctly.

So, I told him, “I want a complete sentence, Griffin. Do you want a Tuna Sandwich?” Griffin responded, “NO, period.” He knows sentences end with a period.

93 Year Old Woman

A few Pictures of THE Birthday!

We had breakfast that morning, I guess we were too busy eating to take any pictures, but it was very good.

Then we went on a hike up in the Monrovia Camera.
