Back Up For Sale!

1030 Don Alvarado is back up for sale, this time for
$998,000. Last spring they were trying for $1,300,000.

The suspended seating in the kitchen is gone, but the one outside is still there! No more red carpet in the master bedroom. And the TV's! They are amazingly huge.

You can see 15 pictures of the inside HERE!

Seeing that pool, the big oak trees, the decking brought back lots of memories; After it was built we could never get a good PH reading. The contractor then accused me of letting all the primary children come and swim and pee in it. When I denied that, they kept checking until they realized it was the leaves and acorn from the aged oaks that was causing the problem.
on another occasion, I stepped out of the glass doors to begin watering the pots around the pool. I didn't see that baby Candice had followed me out - suddenly Julie ran out and jumped into the pool! She had gone in for Candice who, at the time, had not learned to swim - she saw something tiny and green in the pool and imagined it to be gum. She stepped right in to get it! Those are two memories for the book!

That made me so nostalgic... I remember the big earthquake, performing in the backyard (a one-girl show), playing kick-the-can and sardines in the court AND climbing into the storm drain against the curb to hide in hide-and-seek!
