Julie/Mom . . we never made it to Memphis. By the time we got to Nashville, Tru and Marilyn had been there 3 or 4 days already. They had Craig and his wife and babe there to visit. They had already seen the "Hermitage" (Andrew Jackson and his wife Rachael, who died over a broken heart brought on by gossips - she didn't even make it to the Whitehouse. He had to take a neice to be his hostess there. They really didn't want to see much of anything that might cost them money. They said they didn't like Elvis. After we had taken them to the airport Dad and I drove 80 miles to Gainsboro to find anything about Dad's family. His Dad, Herm, was born there. I will try to write something in the next couple of days. Luv yu

I hope it was fun anyway!
It was. We had a great time and I/we really enjoyed meeting the "cousins" of Dad's who we met. (Everyone is related in a small town) We went to their church on Sunday -they sang, but they do not believe in other music (pianos & etc) because they are not mentioned in the bible!
